Linda Joy Thompson, age 71 of Houston, Texas, passed away Thursday, April 23, 2020 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Houston, Texas.  Linda was born August 31, 1948 in Houston and was a lifetime resident of the city.  She graduated from Jones High School in 1966 and worked in Human Resources for various companies over the years. Linda attended First United Methodist Church of Houston and is going to be dearly missed by her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Beverly Price.

Linda is survived by her son, Trey Thompson and wife Robin; granddaughter, Tara Thompson; sister, Cindy Baird; nephew, Sean Baird; niece, Shanna B. Flora; 3 great nephews and niece; and beloved pets Lil' Bit & Lucy; along with numerous other extended family and friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, April 28, 2020 at Mission Park South Cemetery in San Antonio, Texas. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Missions Ministries of First United Methodist Church Houston.
