Xaden Gomez, age 19 of Missouri City, Texas, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025. Xaden was born on February 28, 2006 in Webster, Texas and was a resident of Missouri City, Texas for 19 years. Xaden enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, he loved playing basketball and video games. Xaden lived life to the fullest and never skipped a beat. Xaden came into the world ready; he excelled academically when he was in school and played basketball. He is preceded in death by Great Grandfather, Jesus Vargas, Great Grandmother Aurora Zertuche, Grandfather, Pablo Salazar and his cousins Ray Ray Echard, and Jesse Vargas.

Xaden is survived by his parents, Sarah Contreras and Gustavo Gomez, Sr., grandparents, Maria Gomez, Francisco Gomez, Irma Contreras, sisters, Destiny Gomez, Breana Gomez, brothers, Jose Contreras, Jay Alvarado, Gavyn Gomez, Gustavo Gomez, Jr., as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 27, 2025 at 10:00 am at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. Interment will follow in the City of Alvin Oak Park Cemetery.
