Winfred "Sonny" Homer Crutchfield Jr., age 86, of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, March 9, 2023. Sonny was born April 19, 1936 in Houston, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. He graduated from Alvin High School in 1954 and served his country in the United States Air Force. Sonny retired from the Monsanto Company where he worked in the Instrument and Electrical Department. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Crutchfield; parents, Winfred and Pauline Crutchfield Sr.

Sonny is survived by his son, Tim Crutchfield and wife Jennifer; grandson, Cole Crutchfield; sister, Anita Holiman and husband Harold; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life Reception will be held from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM at the Alvin Senior Citizens Center ( 309 West Sealy Street Alvin, TX. 77511 ) on Saturday April 1, 2023.
