William Russell McAlvain Sr., age 68 of Liverpool, Texas passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas.  Russ was born May 27, 1954 in Stillwater, Oklahoma and was a resident of Liverpool for the last 7 years. He worked as a Global Procurement Manager for Shell Oil and was a member of the Texas Army National Guard. Russ is preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Alice McAlvain Sr.; brother Warren McAlvain Jr.

Russ is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Deborah McAlvain; daughter, Katherine Reiland and husband David; son, William "Rusty" McAlvain Jr. and wife Samantha; sister, Derinda Faye, Karen Wilson and husband Jim; sister in law, Diane McAlvain Jr.; grandchildren, Billy McAlvain, Trent McAlvain, Axl McAlvain, Micky McAlvain, Karsyn Jasso, Kalee Jasso, Tyler Austin Reiland and Sadie Ann Reiland; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, May 27, 2023 at Scott Funeral Home.
