William Hollis, age 68 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024 in Webster, Texas.  William was born on September 16, 1955, in Houston, Texas and was a resident of Alvin for over 45 years.  He worked for many years as an operator in the Petroleum Industry and proudly served his country during the Viet Nam war in the United States Navy.  William was preceded in death by his parents, Wanda Tracy and step-father Ray, as well as step-mother Fay and James Hollis, and his sisters Barbara Hackett and Rickie DuBose.

William is survived by his wife of 45 years, Brenda Hollis, daughters, Amanda Martin and husband Charles, Heather Morgan and husband Kolby, son, Steven Hollis and wife Jessica, sister, Lisa Guice, 8 grandchildren, Owen, Sadi, Kole, Kali, Koen, Jace, Braydin, Karsin, sister in law, Vicki Morgan, brothers in law, Jeffrey Jones, James DuBose, Edward Hackett, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, May 11 2024 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.
