Wesley Leon Franklin Sr., age 62 of Onalaska, Texas passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022 at his home. Wesley was born June 21, 1960 in San Antonio, Texas and was a longtime resident of Alvin before moving to Onalaska.  He worked as a truck driver spending the last 10 years working for Firestone. Wesley enjoyed playing Santa Claus and spent many years doing it at Briar Grove Pharmacy and Berings Hardware. He is preceded in death by his wife, Debra Franklin; parents, Clarence and Doris Franklin; sons, Wesley Franklin Jr., Layton Davenport, Matthew Franklin; sister, Debra Boomhower; brother, Frederick Franklin.

Wesley is survived by his fiancé, Teresita Collins; daughter, Angela Clarke; son, Jeremy Franklin; brothers, Frank Franklin and wife Rosie, Darrel Franklin and wife Beverly, Tony Franklin and wife Chello; along with numerous grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home with Funeral Services beginning at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin, Texas.
