Wanda Sue Neihart, affectionately known as Sue, age 88 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2026. Sue was born June 30, 1938 in Camp Ruby, Texas. Sue enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards and dominoes, lunching with her life-long friends and bowling team, listening to her favorite songs and contributing to her church and Sunday School class. Sue is preceded in death by her husband Max Neihart; sister Betty Druckhammer; brothers Van Massey, Pat Massey, Robert Massey and grandchildren Hannah Mae Greer and Jozie Cordell Beazley.

Sue is survived by her children Robert Gregory Greer, Brian Stephen Greer, Joel Edward Greer, Jennifer Kaye Valdez; step-children Carri Ann Mowry and Mark Allen Neihart; grandchildren: Seth Greer, Michael Greer, Anna Speer, Emily Speer, Joseph Greer, Jordan Greer, Alex Valdez, Kristin Valdez, Bethany Lebrun, Alana Valdez, Jamie Kelly, Michael Stromberg, Daniel Neihart, Joshua Neihart, and Katlyn Michelle Mowry; great-grandchildren: Kylie Garcia, Deacon Greer, Nathan Worthington, William Worthington, Penelope Greer, Cooper Greer, Carson Greer, Kaylee Mae Greer, Jace Valdez, Nico Valdez, Jax Valdez, Rhiannan Mateo, Reighlynn Mateo, Bennett Lebrun, Faith Kelly and Isabella Kelly.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, August 21, 2026, from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM, with a memorial service beginning at 6:00 PM. There will be another memorial service at Southpark Baptist Church Saturday, August 22, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM.
