Wanda Lee Atchison, age 85, formerly of Rosharon, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2024, in Gonzales, Texas.  Wanda was born September 26, 1939, in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifetime resident of Manvel. Wanda enjoyed baking, crocheting, spending time with her grandkids and sitting in the bleachers watching her great-grandchildren play baseball. Before her husband Slick's passing, they both enjoyed going to the casino together. Wanda is preceded in death by her husband Herman Marvin Atchison "Slick"; parents Arthur and Pauline Work.

Wanda is survived by her sons Marvin Atchison and wife Marshelle, Terry Atchison and wife Roxann, Lee Atchison and wife Kim; grandchildren Paige Riseling and husband Jonah, Madison Cantu and husband Joshua, McKay Atchison, Megan Kenney and husband Shane, Corey Atchison, Tyler McBride and wife Jessika; great-grandchildren Peyton McBride, Parker McBride, Bly Evette Riseling, and Hayden Grace Kenney.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home.
