Walter H. "Butch" Todd age 77, of Alvin, Texas passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022. Butch was born March 6, 1945, in Houston, Texas. Butch proudly served his country in the Marines, for which he received a purple heart.

Butch was a man of many talents, leaving a legacy with over 45 years in his career. He enjoyed cooking, BBQ cook offs, reading his paperback books, watching old westerns with the volume as loud as it could go, welding, fabricating, fishing, and a passion for hunting. Butch was very detail oriented and organized, labeling " Butch Todd " with a black sharpie on any and everything in his possession including his black sharpie.

Butch is preceded in death by his parents, William and Stella Todd; brother James "Jimbo" Todd; brother-in-law John Broussard.

Butch is survived by his daughter, Shalynn Todd; sons Willie Bockel and wife Kelly, Jason Bockeland wife Jodi; sister, Pat Broussard; brother, Hardy Todd and wife Mary Lee; grandchildren Koby, Dawson, Lauren, Trevor, Tyler, and Tabitha; greatgrandchild Waylon; along with other greatgrandchildren, family, and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, October 17, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a service starting at 7:00.
