Our sweet, loving son, brother, grandson, cousin and best friend, Victor Garcia, age 26 of Alvin, Texas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, June 1, 2025.

Victor was born on July 29, 1998, in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina and was a lifetime resident of Alvin. Victor graduated from Alvin High School and began work as a diesel mechanic. He recently attended the Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Houston. While in school he received an amazing opportunity to work for Duncan Aviation. He was so excited and proud of his new career and had so many plans to travel with family and friends.

Victor was the most loving, loyal, caring, kind, compassionate, sweet, affectionate young man who loved spending time with family and friends and helping others. Victor always worked hard to imitate Christ, to be a solid foundation for family and friends no matter the circumstances. He worked hard to help those he knew and loved as well as complete strangers by carrying his cross and his family daily. He was known to so many as not just a friend, but a brother, and was the best brother a person could have. Vic was wild, fearless, fierce, small but mighty and not of this earth. We are so grateful for the time we were given and have peace in our hearts knowing he is resting eternally with his Grandpa Eli.

Victor is preceded in death by his grandfather Eliberto V. Garcia. He is survived by his parents, Eleanor and William Rogers, sister, Gabby Rogers, grandmother, Maria Munoz, grandmother Rosie Garcia, grandparents, Bob and Dianne Rogers, grandmother Lois Vasquez, Aunt Lisa Garcia; cousins Jazmine, Emily, Jessica, Jacob, Bella, Gio, Zach, Grace, and Emma. Uncle J and Aunt Valerie Garcia; cousins Elena, Beto and James. Uncle Daniel, Aunt Celeste; cousins Daniel and Nathan. Aunt Nichole and Uncle Jarek Jones; cousins Anthony and Austin as well as lifelong friends, Alex, Reed, Brock and Laith and other numerous family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Scotts Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas with doors open at 9:00 AM.

A reception will follow services at Bella Moon Barn, located at 2300 County Rd 155, Alvin, TX 77511. We invite you to come and share a meal with us in honor of Victor.
