Vicki was born in Dublin, Texas on February 16, 1943 to Lewis "Buster" and Naomi McCarty. She graduated from Dublin High School and later the University of Houston with both a Bachelor's and Master's degree.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Reginal Ennis, Jr., an infant son, Christian, who was Evan's twin, her sister Kay M. Roe Steffenauer, and her children's father, Joe Arendell.

She is survived by sons Todd Arendell and wife Karen, Evan Arendell and wife Debi, Adam Arendell and wife Christy; her daughters Erin Arendell Patton and Anna Arendell; her grandchildren Taylor and Ashton Arendell, Jake Arendell, Catherin Patton, Aidan Patton and Finn Arendell Patton; her brothers-in law Bill Ennis and Dan Hays-Clark; and other relatives and friends, social and professional, whom she dearly loved. They know who they are.

Vicki was always active in her communities, first in Harris County and then in Brazoria County. She was honored locally by several organizations including the Soroptimists, the Women's Center, the daughters of the American Revolution, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration and the Alvin Police Department's Victim Assistance program.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, January 14, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. at Scott Funeral Home.  A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 10:00 o'clock in the morning at Grace Episcopal Church, 200 W. Lang Street, Alvin, 77511. A reception will follow.

Contributions may be made in Vicki's memory to the music department at Grace Episcopal Church where she served as the pipe organist for 10 years, or to the Women's Center of Brazoria County, POB 476, Angleton, 77516 where she served as the Executive Director for 23 years.
