Vicki Barosh, aka "G'Duck", born Vicki Anne Fallis on May 15, 1947, in Houston, Texas passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, in Alvin, Texas.

Vicki began school in Beaumont, Texas, and entered Bay City schools in the third grade. She graduated from Bay City High School in 1965 and then attended Texas Christian University, graduating in 1969 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre. Briefly stopping in Canada to get married and have a son and then run a small newspaper in a company town in Churchill Falls, Labrador, she went on to New York City to pursue theater as a stage manager. Her production credits include "1776", "Jesus Christ Superstar", and "Hello, Dolly!" to name just a few. After returning to Houston, Texas in late 1981, she became an office coordinator for Texas Construction Industry. It was while working in the construction field that she met her husband of 37 years, Roger Barosh. Vicki married Roger on October 15, 1988. When Vicki left construction, she went on to teach English at Milby High School in the Houston Independent School District. Vicki and Roger later moved to Rosharon, Texas where she continued her teaching career at Santa Fe High School. She taught both English and Drama. For decades, Vicki maintained her passion for theatre by performing in numerous plays and going to see them as well. Whether she was reading a book in her downtime, going to plays, dubbing for anime, tending to her fur babies, remaining close to her faith, or spending time with friends and family, she was always helping or teaching others. To many, Vicki was known as Barosh, Ms. Vicki, Queen or "the Duck." Some would describe Vicki as a fireball, full of charismatic charm and wit. She was a leader, a teacher, a therapist and always full of theatrical expression. Vicki was a friend and mentor to many, and she absolutely loved everyone in her life.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Evening Star in Alvin, Texas for taking such wonderful care of Vicki during this past year and a half. The family would also like to thank Mary Pat Carroll for all the love and support that she has provided. We do not know what we would have done without her.

Vicki is survived by her husband, Roger Barosh & Fearless (her cat), her brother John Fallis (Laura), her son Landon Bradshaw (Amy), stepdaughter Susan Lester (Oscar), stepson Chris Barosh, niece Jessie Rae Fallis, nephew Jackson Fallis, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jesse and Mary Ellen Fallis and by her precious granddaughter Maggie Bradshaw.

Funeral arrangements are provided by Scott Funeral Home. Services will be held on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Alvin Lutheran Church 1800 FM 1462, Alvin, Tx 77511. The viewing will begin at 4:00 pm followed by a celebration of life at 5:00 pm.
