Edith Vesta Jones, age 92 of Santa Fe, Texas passed away Monday, September 26, 2022 at Baywind Village Nursing Facility in Webster, Texas. Vesta was born March 28, 1930 in Anton, Texas and was a resident of Santa Fe since 1970. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Vesta is preceded in death by her husband, Benny Jones; parents, Orbia and Ruby Wigington; sisters, Virginia Riggs and Mary Romano.

Vesta is survived by her children, Tandi Andreasen and husband Randal, Connie DeLaney, James DeLaney and wife Frieda, Kent DeLaney and wife Trisha; 20 grandchildren; along with numerous great grandchildren and extended family and friends.

Pallbearers: Joseph Walton Jr., Anthony Walton, Matthew Walton, Brian DeLaney, Kenneth DeLaney and Clayton Rousseau

Visitation will be held from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM Monday, October 3, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home with services beginning at 12:30 PM. Interment will follow at Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas.
