Ventura Gil Jr., age 64, of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston, Texas. Ventura was born August 22, 1957 in El Campo, Texas and was a longtime resident of the Alvin/Manvel area. He worked as an operator in the oil and gas industry and attended Gleaner Full Gospel Church in Alvin. Ventura is preceded in death by his parents, Ventura and Clara Gil Sr.; sister, Florentina Razo; brother, Roberto Gil.

Ventura is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Gil; sons, Ventura Gil III and spouse Ashely, Javier Gil and spouse Lindsey; step daughter, Josie Cordero; sister, Mary Galvez; brother, Salvador Gil; grandchildren, Marina, Valerie, Anyssa, Emily, Haleigh, Braiden, Raleigh, Presley, Colton, Savannah, Javier Jr. and Adelina; great grandchildren, Matthew, Julisa, Malia and Milena; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home with Funeral Services beginning at 7:00 PM.
