Val Darwyn Kite, age 76 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025 after a 6 year long hard-fought battle with cancer at his home with family by his side.  Val was born August 30, 1949 in West Palm Beach, Florida and was a 43-year resident of Alvin. He worked as a Process Technician for Albermarle in Pasadena, Texas and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Val is preceded in death by his parents, Lorin and Viola Kite; brothers Mark Kite and Dwayne Kite.

Val is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sharon Kite; sons, Jason Kite and wife Cesia, Josh Kite and wife Kelly, Jeff Kite; sister, Lorraine Tidwell and husband Ronnie; grandchildren, Madison, Alysse and Jacob; great grandson, Elias; along with numerous nephews and extended family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home.
