Theresa Marie Dalmolin Loftin, a long-time resident of Alvin, Texas, passed away on December 31 ^st , 2022, at the age of 85. Theresa was born in Houston, Texas on August 23 ^rd , 1937, the daughter of Attilio Dalmolin and Rosalie Biondolillo Dalmolin. She grew up in Manvel, Texas, the eldest of four siblings: two sisters and a brother. She graduated from Alvin High School in 1956 where she later met the love of her life, George Calvin Loftin JR. They got married on October 14, 1956, and soon welcomed their son, Jerry Wayne Loftin, in 1958 and daughter, Cynthia Ann Lewis, in 1962. She was the proud owner of Alvin Flowers, a successful and well-respected flower shop that she opened in March of 1971. She retired after 33 years, and the business is still owned and cherished by her family today. Theresa loved to travel with her family and friends, which included trips to Vegas where she could gamble the night away! Her favorite time of the year was Christmas when her beloved family could gather together as one.

She is survived by her son Jerry, his wife Rebecca, and her daughter, Cynthia, all of Alvin, Texas; her sisters Antoinette and husband John Kettle, Rosalie and husband Harry Mican, and brother Louie and wife Terri Dalmolin; and her pride and joy, five grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson, Wendy Jauregui, Wesley Loftin, Brittany Gibbs, and Lucas Loftin. She also had numerous great and great-great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Pallbearers serving will be Ed Henderson, Ronnie Ruffeno, Pete Soliz, John Earl Kettle, Billy Ray Dalmolin, and Brian Dalberg. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Loftin, Lucas Loftin, JJ Jauregui, Dustin Johnson, and Jason Gibbs.

The family will receive friends for visitation from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Scott's Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas, on January 5 ^th , 2023. The funeral service will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, January 6 ^th , 2023, at First United Methodist Church of Alvin. Interment will follow at Manvel Cemetery in Manvel, Texas. Theresa will be remembered as the most wonderful mother and grandmother to her family. She will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
