Sylvia Ann Granados, age 70 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025 Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas.  Sylvia was born May 1, 1955 in Austin, Texas and was a longtime resident of Alvin.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Salvador and Estefana Almanza; birth mother, Guadalupe Soriano.

Sylvia is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, George Granados; daughters, Maria Valadez and husband Rene, Stephanie Granados and husband Eric Molina; son, George E. Granados; sister, Joyce Carmona; brothers, Grable John Muraida and Andrew Muraida; grandchildren, Rene Valadez Jr., Danielle E. Jorge, Alec J. Valadez, Katherine C. Andrade, Lilliana Y. Granados and Joseph A. Granados; great grandchildren, Marianna E. Barrientos, Maddelina E. Barrientos and Matteo L. Jorge; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday, September 28, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, September 29, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home with interment to follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin.
