Susanna O'Brian, age 87 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023.  Susanna was born on January 13, 1936 in Red Oak, Iowa and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 50 years.  Sue was a proud United States Air Force veteran, which is where she met her husband, Gene.  She was a huge fan of the Astros, Texans, and Rockets, rarely missing a game.  Sue was also a vicious reader who often finished a book a day.  Her sense of humor and fun spirit will be missed.

Susanna was preceded in death by her darling husband, Hugh Gene O'Brian, Sr., son, Hugh Gene O'Brian, Jr., and grandson Ben Garcia.  Susanna is survived by her daughters, Sherry Britton and husband Glen, Diana Garcia, Linda Martinez, Debra Puckett, son, William O'Brian and wife Angela, sister, Rua Haddock, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.
