Stephen Carroll Munden Jr., age 51, of Alvin, Texas, passed away on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Stephen was born on November 14, 1974, in Oahu, Hawaii. He was an electrician by trade. Stephen enjoyed fishing and loved working on motor vehicles. He also enjoyed four-wheelers, motorcycles, and anything that drove fast. He cherished getting together with family and friends for Sunday dinners. He loved his children, and his grandchildren adored him deeply. He especially enjoyed spending time with his mother and always took her to the game room, which they both loved.

Stephen was a great man and a hard worker. He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Munden Sr., and his sister, Venus Smith.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Darlene Munden; his mother, Rosalina Munden; his daughters, Savannah Munden and husband Cesar Vallecillo, Samantha Reyna and husband Sergio Reyna, and Jessica Mooring and husband Jonathan Pugh; his sons, Billy Mooring and wife Teresa Mooring, and Cody Mooring and wife Darlinda Dickey; his brothers, Shannon Velasquez and Joey Velasquez; 18 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2026, at Oak Park Cemetery.
