Stella Trevino Paiz, age 73 of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Harbor Hospice in Houston, Texas. Stella was born July 19, 1949 in Alvin, Texas and was a longtime resident of Alvin. She worked for 22 years as the secretary for the Director of Maintenance for Alvin ISD and attended both St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin and  St. Helen Catholic Church in Pearland, Texas. Stella is preceded in death by her father, Paul Trevino Sr.; mother, Beatrice Martinez; brother, David Trevino; niece, Sarah Trevino.

Stella is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Lazaro Paiz; son, David Arebalo; daughter, Monica Carlisle and husband Thomas; step sons, Oscar Paiz and wife Mary, Ricky Paiz; sister, Jodie Fisher and husband Bert; brother, Paul Trevino Jr. and wife Kathy; grandchildren, Nathan Arebalo, Hayden Carlisle, Evan Carlisle and Ellissa Paiz; great granddaughter, Emery Paiz; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at St. Helen's Catholic Church (2209 Old Alvin Road Pearland, Texas 77581). Interment will follow at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin.
