Sixto Garcia Sr., age 81 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, March 20, 2026 in Webster, Texas.  Sixto was born on October 21, 1944 in Elsa, Texas and has been a resident of Alvin for over 50 years.  Sixto loved to play the guitar, he loved his wife Irma, he loved going to church, playing machinitas, and he loved his family he was a jokester to all who knew him. Sixto is preceded in death by his wife Irma Garcia, and parents Elivorio and Ramona Garcia; brother Elivorio Garcia Jr.; sisters Elena Garcia, and Norma Garcia

Sixto is survived by his daughter, Theresa Garcia Schuelke and husband Stacy; sons, Sixto Garcia Jr., Samuel Garcia and wife Monica, Saul Garcia; sisters Alicia Vasquez and husband Abelardo, Elfida Espinoza; brothers Oscar Garcia and wife Olivia, Daniel Garcia and wife Elvira, and Blas Garcia; grandchildren, Alyssa Limones, Jordyn Garcia, Isaiah Garcia, Kamryn Garcia, Adrianna Infante, Jacob Garcia, Alessandra Infante, Christian Garcia and Noah Garcia; great grandchildren Kruz Alvarez and Kai Alvarez; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at 12:00 P.M. at Scott Funeral Home with Interment to follow at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
