Sherida Ann Wilson, age 78 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, May 6, 2025.  Sherida was born August 18, 1946 in Topeka, Kansas. Sherida enjoyed being surrounded by her family, especially her grandkids and her great grandkids. She enjoyed cooking and always had a full house filled with the neighborhood kids hoping to get one of her famous meals. Family was important to Sherida and she instilled that importance in everyone around her. Sherida is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Wilson; son Todd Green; parents Walter Salyer Sr. and Anna Salyer; brothers Walter Salyer II, Steve Salyer, and Brent Salyer.

Sherida is survived by her daughters Heather Wilson and Holly Wilson; sons Jeremy Wilson and Chad Allison; grandchildren Wyatt Coffin, Kelton Coffin, Alisea Balderaz, and Dalyn and Daren Sembera; great grandchildren Arealynn Sembera, Addelyn Sembera, Klayton Coffin, and Ryder Coffin; Daughter-in-law Donna Green.

A visitation will be held at Scott Funeral Home Tuesday, May 13, 2025 from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. A funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home. Interment to follow the services at Confederate Cemetery.
