Sergio Cervantes, age 59 of Alvin, Texas passed away Monday, December 20, 2021 at UTMB Hospital in League City, Texas. Sergio was born May 9, 1962 in Mexico and was a resident of Alvin for over 30 years. He worked for many years as a welder and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Sergio is preceded in death by his parents, Benjamin and Maria Cervantes.

Sergio is survived by his daughters, Jessica Ortiz, Kristina Gage, Victoria Cervantes and husband Gerardo Montoya; grandchildren, Mariangel Ortiz, Jesus Ortiz, Isela Montoya, Martin Montoya, Liliana Montoya and Josue Montoya; along with numerous other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at Scott Funeral Home.
