Roy Raymond Garrison, Jr., age 56, was welcomed into his eternal home by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ early Thursday morning, February 19, 2026, while in hospice care at Laurel Court Residential Health Services in Alvin, TX.  Roy was born October 19, 1969 in Pittsburg (Dormont), PA and was a resident of Alvin for more than 50 years.  He was a 1988 graduate of Alvin High School.

He was preceded in death by his loving mother Kelly O. Garrison; father Roy R. Garrison, Sr.; brothers James (Jimmy) K. Olson and Henry (Buddy) Olson, III; infant nephew Roy Lee Nelson; and niece Donnette Alana.

Roy is survived by his caring wife Brenda (Curtner) Garrison; sisters Nancy (Olson) Nelson, Donna (Olson) Alana, Pattie (Olson) Hubbard (George), and Kelly Jo (Garrison) Sanders (Corey Ervin); numerous nieces and nephews, several great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Graveside service was held on Saturday February 21, 2026 at the Confederate Cemetery in Alvin, TX.
