Rosemary Ann Anderson, age 87, of Alvin, Texas, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 11, 2025. She was born on August 30, 1938, in Rockford, Illinois, and was a beloved member of the Alvin community for 48 years.

Rosemary lived a full and joyful life surrounded by family and friends. She loved to travel, especially on cruises, and enjoyed trips to the casino — later finding joy in online gaming when traveling became difficult. A creative spirit, she spent countless hours crafting beautiful jewelry, often gifting her creations to friends and even strangers she met along the way. Rosemary had the gift of gab and never met a stranger; she loved people deeply and made friends wherever she went.

Rosemary is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Angela Riley; and sisters, Kathryn, Dorothy, Helen, Lucille and Patricia.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard Anderson; daughter, Theresa Counter, and husband, Joe; sons, Michael Anderson and wife, Kathleen, and Christopher Anderson; grandchildren, Jac, Kyle, Faith, Kinsey, and Aryn.

The family will hold a private celebration of life at a later date. Rosemary's love, laughter, and fiery spirit will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
