Rosalinda Ortiz, age 59 formerly of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, March 30, 2024. Rosa was born on August 17, 1964, in Laredo, Tx. She was a homemaker and Catholic by faith. Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Maria and Leonel Ortiz, sister, Patrica Ortiz.

Rosa is survived by her son, Jeremy Ortiz and wife Veronica, sisters, Irma Mavus and husband Brian, Maria Ortegon, brothers, Lionel Ortiz, III., and wife Carolyn, Mark Ortiz, Eric Ortiz, grandchildren, Isabelle, Liliana, Patricia, Jeremy, Jr., as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 12, 2024, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home at 10:00 AM.
