Ronney Rowell, age 84 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, May 29, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family. Ronney was born on July 20, 1941 in Houston 'The Heights" and was a longtime resident of Alvin. He worked for many years in the Cryogenics industry and was Christian by faith. He enjoyed participating in Bible Studies and activities with the Salt Group at church, spending time with family, watching old Western shows, playing his game on his phone and watching the Texans play. In his earlier years he enjoyed working on and racing cars with the boys, summer camp outs on the beach and Garner State Park. He had a life time love for history, airplanes, trains and cars. Ronney was preceded in death by his wife Joanne Kerber Rowell, his parents June and Phillip Rowell, brother Kenneth Rowell.

Ronney is survived by his wife Kay Bramlet and daughters, Shaun Liles and husband Vance, Sharla Rowell, sons, Mark Calhoun and wife Susan, Patrick Calhoun, brother, Bill Rowell and wife Judy, 3 grandchildren, Ashley and husband Jody, Phillip and wife Jennifer, Lucy and husband Russell, 4 great-grandchildren, Novalee, Kace, Avalynn, Ezra, 1 bonus grandchild, Margarita Gutierrez as well as numerous other relatives and friends

A visitation will be held Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas with funeral services beginning at 11:00 AM.
