Roianna McCormick, age 94 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, June 27, 2025 at Winchester Lodge Nursing facility in Alvin.  Roianna was born July 10, 1930 in Valera, Texas and was a resident of Alvin since 1995. She worked many years as a seamstress and beautician and attended Heights Baptist Church in Alvin for many years. Roianna is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin McCormick; son, Tommy McCormick; daughter, Cathy Davis; parents, Roy and Oma Acrey; brothers, Pete Acrey, Ray Acrey, J.T. Acrey and Wilburn Acrey.

Roianna is survived by her son, Jimmy McCormick; grandchildren, Chris Williams, Tommy Williams and Bobby Davis; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM Thursday, July 3, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home with interment to follow at Southpark Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.

A reception will be held in Roianna's honor immediately following the interment service at Heights Baptist Church, 1591 CR 144 Alvin, Texas 77511.
