Roger Stuksa, age 82 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, March 17, 2023. Roger was born on October 19, 1940 in Cleveland, Ohio and was a lifetime resident of Alvin, Texas. He worked for many years as a master electrician in the HVAC industry and was Christian by faith. Roger was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Jeannette Stuksa, parents, Henry and Eleanor Stuksa, and daughter in-law, Becky Stuksa.

Roger was an avid resident of Alvin. He always found an opportunity to serve his community. He served Alvin in many ways. He owned an air-conditioning business, Action Air, in Alvin for many years. He was an active member of the Alvin's Noon Lions Club and the Alvin Masonic Lodge. He served on the Alvin City Council as well as on the Alvin Community College's Board of Regents. He also served on the City of Alvin's electrical board, Senior Citizen's board, and as a Commissioner on the Alvin Planning Commission.

Roger is survived by his daughter, Tina Royles and husband Philip, sons, James Stuksa, Darren Stuksa and wife Aom, Roger Stuksa and wife Elena, sister, Barbara Kerbo and husband James, brothers, Jimmy Stuksa and wife Frankie, Rick Stuksa and wife Ginnie, 15 grandchildren, Crystal, Shelby, David, Cory, Justin, Cristene, Henry, Gilbert, Ericah, Gennifer, Kimberly, Scott, Dominik, Donavan, and Denton, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home.
