Roger Otto Pozehl, age 80 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, July 19, 2024 at his residence.  Roger was born October 4, 1943 in Utica, Nebraska and had been a resident of Alvin for the last 9 years formerly of Keysburg, Kentucky. He attended Epiphany Lutheran Church in Pearland, Texas and worked for Alvin ISD driving the bus for special needs students. Roger is preceded in death by his son, Paul Calloway; granddaughter, Amanda Clanton; parents, Otto and Emma Pozehl; sister, Elvira Laniger; brothers, Clarence Pozehl and Alfred Pozehl.

Roger is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Dorris Pozehl; daughters, Dana Roberts and husband Robert, Angela Smith and husband William, Amy Aaron and husband Eric; daughter in law, Amy Calloway; brother, Marlin Pozehl; grandchildren, Roger Holloway and wife Jacey Pischel, Megan Gonda and husband Anosh, Mark Holloway and wife Ashley, Wesley Holloway and wife Brenda, Chase Roberts and wife Blossom, Samuel Smith, Zachary Calloway, Mason Calloway, Adam Aaron and wife Katie Gillispie; great grandchildren, Anora and Quinn Gonda, Mark, Autumn and Nolan Holloway, Weston and Ava Holloway, Mason, Preston and Jackson Roberts, Callie Aaron; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, July 26, 2024 at Confederate Cemetery in Alvin.
