Robert Walker, Sr., age 88 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026 at his residence surrounded by his family. Robert was born on January 10, 1938 in Houston, Texas and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 55 years. He was a man of great faith and was devoted to his family that he loved so much. Robert was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marguerite and Everett Walker, brother, Jack Walker and sister, Joyce Broussard.

Robert is survived by his wife, Barbara Walker of 66 years, son, Robert Walker, Jr. and wife Kari, daughter, Jean Bryant and husband Phil, sisters, Winnie Garner, Elaine Sonnier, brother, Jerry Walker and wife Theresa, grandchildren, Kinsey and husband Trevor, Jordan and husband Corbin, Trent, Samantha, Ally, great-grandchildren, Levi, Brody, Cullen, Walker, Avery and Owen, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, October 19, 2026 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, October 20, 2026 at 10:30 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin, Texas. Interment will follow in Forest Park Lawndale in Houston.
