Robert Orville Smith Jr., age 79 of Alvin, Texas passed away Thursday, March 30, 2023 at his home. Robert was born May 2, 1943 in Mammoth Spring, Arkansas and was a 57 year resident of Alvin. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and worked many years as a Lineman for Fisk Electric. Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Josephine Smith Sr.; brother, David Smith; grandchildren, Joye and Ashby.

Robert is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Amanda Smith; daughter, Patricia Fillips and husband Robert; son, William Smith; grandchildren, Jonathan, Aaron, Andrew, Sarah, Amanda, Karl and Amelia; great grandchildren, Lance, Rose, Viktor and Ryker; along with numerous extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM Saturday, April 15, 2023 at the First Christian Center. (1212 South Durant Street Alvin, Texas 77511)
