Robert Sambrano, 56, of Alvin, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Born on March 6, 1970, in Alvin, Robert was a lifelong member of the Alvin community and a familiar face to many who knew and loved him.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Beatrice Sambrano, and his sister, Linda Sambrano.

Robert leaves behind his loving wife, Linda Sambrano; son, Robert Sambrano, Jr., and fiancé, Erica; daughters, Casandra Derkowski and husband, Charles, and Cecelia Stapp and husband, Marcus; father, Abel Sambrano, and grandchildren, Trae, Rolan, Colten, Colin, Freya, Aliza, Luis, and Alonzo. He is also survived by his sister, Sara Gutierrez and husband, Pasqual; brother, Abel Sambrano, Jr.; and numerous relatives and dear friends.

Family was at the heart of Robert’s life. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather who loved his family deeply. Robert shared a special bond with his oldest grandson, Trae. He loved him dearly and was always there whenever Trae needed him. Their bond was truly special and will forever be cherished.

Robert was also a hardworking and dedicated man who took great pride in his career. In 1995, he opened his own construction company, Robert Construction Cleanup & Demolition, in Santa Fe, Texas. Through his work, Robert built lasting relationships with Rodney Hankamer, affectionately known as “Big Hank,” and numerous custom home builders throughout the area. His work was an important part of his life, and he was proud of the relationships and friendships he formed along the way.

Robert will be remembered not only for his hard work and dedication, but for the love he had for his family, the friendships he made, and the memories he leaves behind with everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

A visitation will be held Sunday, September 20, 2026, at Scott Funeral Home from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a rosary beginning at 6:00 PM.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, September 21, 2026, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery.
