Richard Frank Porro Sr., age 79 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2024.  Richard was born May 11, 1944, in Joliet, Illinois. Richard enjoyed spending time with his grandson, fixing and modifying cars, and gardening. He was a hardworking man who loved his family and went above and beyond to provide a wonderful life for them.

Richard was the most loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather and was always one to meet you with a hug, a kiss and a smile.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Dolores Porro; son Richard Porro Jr.

Richard is survived by his wife Patricia Porro; son Tony Porro Jr; grandchildren Joseph Porro and Britt Shannon; great grandchildren Neirin Porro, Melody Porro, and Everett Porro.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Scott Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM.
