Ray Rose, Sr., age 74 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Friday, October 13, 2023.  Ray was born on June 18, 1949 in Alvin and was a lifetime resident.   He worked for many years as a truck driver and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  Ray was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Rose, father, Ollie Rose.

Ray is survived by his mother, Angelina Rose, daughter, Amanda Lopez, son, Ray Rose, Jr., sisters, Ruby Rose, Sherry Rose, brothers, Larry Rose, Floyd Rose and wife Ann, Howard Rose and wife Laura, Robert Rose, Ollie Rose, Jr. and wife Lawanda, Jerry Rose, grandchild, Kaitlyn Lopez, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.  Interment will follow in the Confederate Cemetery.
