Ramona "Roma" Aleman, age 73 of League City, Texas, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at Houston Methodist Hospital downtown.  Roma was born February 7, 1951 in Alvin, Texas and had been a resident of League City since 1951. She worked in the IT department at the Nasa Space Center and attended St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin. Roma is preceded in death by her husband, Jose Aleman; son, Joey Aleman; sister, Rachel Soria; brothers, Victor Guerrero, Pete Guerrero and Johnny Guerrero.

Roma is survived by her son, Ben Aleman and wife Susie; grandchildren, Jordan Aleman and wife Karis, Stephanie Galick and Jay Galick; sisters, Aggie Luna and Esther Montalvo; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at Scott Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM Wednesday, July 3, 2024 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church in Alvin. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, July 5, 2024 at Houston National Cemetery in Houston, Texas.
