On Saturday, October 9, 2021, Preston Walter Bailey lost his life due to an unexpected tragic accident.

Preston was born prematurely on August 24, 2007 in Temple, TX. He grew up as an Army Brat, making impacts on people lives everywhere. As he makes a new home in Heaven, he leaves behind his parents Walter and Yansi Bailey, his sister Serenity, and his brothers Matthew and Joshua.

Preston was such a good kid, loved by so many. He thoroughly enjoyed band and jiu-jitsu and looked forward to growing in those activities. Preston was also involved in his church youth group where he made so many friends. He was having his best year in school yet. He was an older brother and a younger brother who loved picking on his siblings. Preston had a wonderful sense of humor that could bring a smile to anyone's face. His wit and charismatic attitude was recognized by anyone who spent time with him. Most importantly, he had faith in Jesus. He was so young and still battling the difference between right and wrong, but Preston knew the gospel and accepted it wholeheartedly.

Preston leaves a void in so many hearts that can never be replaced. He would be delighted to know that many have come together in his memory showing love and support for one another. There will be a service to celebrate Preston's life at Heights Baptist Church in Alvin on Saturday, October 23rd at 11am.
