Polo Chavez, age 71 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024 in Houston, Texas surrounded by his family. Polo was born on December 25, 1952 in Mexico and was a resident of Alvin, Texas for over 20 years. He worked for many years for Lyle C Reed in the gas line industry and was Christian by faith. Polo was preceded in death by his father, Antonio Chavez.

Polo is survived by his wife, Rosa Chavez, mother, Consuello Chavez, daughter, Rosalynn Chavez, son, Polo Chavez, sisters, Maria Chavez, Lucy Chavez, Alma Chavez, Theresa Chavez, brothers, Antonio Chavez, Lalo Chavez, Candi Chavez, 5 grandchildren, Emily, Richard, Julian, Eva, Naomi, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. A funeral service will be held Thursday, October 24, 2024 at 10:00 am at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas. Interment will follow in the Confederate Cemetery.
