Pearlie Faye Thompson Caudill of Rosharon, Texas passed away peacefully Monday, January 15, 2024 at the age of 84. She was born September 9, 1939 in Houston, Texas to A. A. and Pearl Thompson and is preceded in death by both her parents as well as husband Harold Caudill and brother A. J. Thompson.

Pearlie is survived by daughter Sandra Taylor and husband Rusty; son Doyle Caudill and Sue Gibson; brother Allen Thompson and wife Loretta; grandchildren Austin Taylor and wife Kacee; Casey Taylor and wife Ashley; great-grandchildren Kade, Sid, Shelby, Brooklyn, Austin and Wimberley; sisters-in-law Helen Fultz and Susie Menchic (Danny) of Kentucky; brother[1]in-law Hubert Caudill (Shirley) of Ohio as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

Pearlie lived her entire life in the Alvin/Rosharon area, marrying the love of her life Harold in December 1956 and graduating from Alvin High School in the Class of '57. She wore many hats over the years starting as a bank teller at Alvin State Bank then, bookkeeper/secretary/office manager and co-owner of various businesses she and Harold had. They were charter members of Alvin Youth Livestock and Arena Association helping to build a facility for area 4-H and FFA kids' use. For many years they loved to fish but were also heavily involved in the National Modified Midget Association, owners of Triple C Raceway in Alvin. Pearlie also held a national office with the association which led to many fun adventures racing across the U.S.

Pearlie wore many hats: Daughter, sister, Mom, Granny, aunt, Miss Pearlie and friend, to many who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

Pallbearers are Austin Taylor, Casey Taylor, Cody Thompson, Don Copeland , John Thompson, Mike Thompson, Honorary Pallbearers are great-grandsons, Kade Nettles, Sid Taylor and Auston Nutt Pastor: Brandon Alred

A visitation will be held Friday, January 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.  A graveside service will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Southpark cemetery in Pearland, Tx.
