Paul Edward Hensley, age 79 of Alvin, Texas, passed away on Monday, January 27th 2025. Paul was born December 20th, 1945, in Angleton, Texas. Paul worked at Houston Lighting and Power (Reliant Energy) in telecommunications for 33 years. Paul enjoyed remote-controlled planes and enjoyed flying them as often as he could. Paul also enjoyed amateur radio also known as "ham radio" and would speak with people from all over the world. Paul is preceded in death by his parents Leroy and Ethel Hensley; sisters Irene Mains, Claudia Floyd, and Janie Williams; brother Elmer Lee Hensley.

Paul is survived by his wife of 55 years Marie Hensley; daughters Donna Gurnea and husband Charles, and Sharon Medina; son Paul David Hensley; grandchildren Cynthia Medina, Brianna Medina, Abigail Benner, Joseph PaPa, Alyssa Macomber and husband Joshua; great grandson Elijah Macomber.

A visitation will be held Friday, January 31, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM. Interment to follow at Oak Park Cemetery.
