Olga Vega, age 78 of Rosharon, Texas passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her family. Olga was born on June 1, 1944, in Robstown, Texas. She married the love of her life, Juan Vega, in Corpus Christi on July 27, 1963. Eventually settling in Rosharon where they raised their three children, Johnny, Eunice and Joshua. She was not only known as the mom to three but she was also known to have an open house, arms, and heart to everyone in need. In her spare time she loved reading and learning new skills. Some of the things she was able to accomplish were painting, sewing, reupholstering, cake decorating, nutrition advisor, prayer counselor and a Certified EMT. But most of all her greatest passion and accomplishment was being a woman of God.

She is preceded in death by her parents Crisanto and Cruz Leal; siblings Lucia Garza, Herlinda Trevino, Alonso Leal, Crisanto Leal, Jr., Elva Leal, Arnoldo Leal; Guardian Gilberto and Maria Leal, grandson, Jonathon Vega.

Olga is survived by her husband, Juan Vega; daughter Eunice Anslum and husband Billy; sons Joshua Vega and wife Britney, and Johnny Vega; grandchildren Jessica Gilbert and husband Tony, Guy Vega, Warren Williams, Gabriel Williams, Hannah Williams, Alayna Vega, Aleksa Vega, Jadyn Vega, Joshua Vega, Jr.; great-grandchildren, Alden, Julia, Liam, Wesley, Bentley, Layla, Kaiden, Elisha, Selah, and Ezekiel; siblings Elda Ramirez, Noe Leal, Dalia Rodriguez, Yolanda Leal, Thelma Leal, Lydia Walker, Arnulfo Leal, Estella Leal, and Rudy Leal.

A visitation will be Friday, March 25, 2022, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Tx. A funeral service will be Saturday, March 26, 2022, at Scott Funeral Home at 10:00 AM. An interment will be at Confederate Cemetery following the service.
