Norman Lee White Sr., age 83 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025 in Conroe, Texas.  Norman was born February 17, 1941 in Abbeville, Louisiana and had been a resident of Alvin for 25 years. He retired from Houston Lighting and Power where he worked as a supervisor in operations. He liked hot rods, ducking hunting, and fishing with his brother-in-law, Larry Thornhill. Norman is preceded in death by his wives, Billie J. White, and Mary L. White; and parents, John and Vivian White.

Norman is survived by his daughters, Angie Dekohary and husband Jay, Shandra Shumate and husband Kevin; son, Norman (Bubba) White Jr.; twin sister, Myrna McDougal-White; grandchildren, Chad Ray and wife Erika, Cameron Dekohary, Stephen West and partner Dane Williams, Austin West, Mason White and Bradley White; great grandchildren, Callan, Cylah, Carsyn, Chandler and Emery; niece, Alisa Bertrand, and nephew Justin Curry; along with numerous extended family and friends.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, February 3, 2025 at Oak Park Cemetery in Alvin with the family greeting family and friends from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the service.
