Michael Wood, age 44 of Houston, Texas, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023. Michael was born on January 16, 1979 in Bartow, Florida and was a resident of Houston, Texas for over 20 years. He worked for many years as an operator in the oil and gas industry.

Michael is survived by his parents, mother, Deborah Knutson, father, John McBride, sisters, Chelsea McBride, Myranda McBride, brothers, Chris Wood, John McBride III, Ric Tamayo, nieces and nephews, Slade Wood, Trent Wood, Elias Wood, Gracen McBride, Annabel Henry, Madilynn Broussard, Landon Hawkins, Wyatt McBride, Jaxson Duron as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home in Alvin, Texas.
