Michael Dwayne Neal, age 58 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2025. Michael was born February 17, 1967 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Michael, known by most people as Mike, was a very unique individual. He was smart, funny and known for being a fun-loving, kind-hearted person. He was an amazing son and big brother who always helped to take care of his mother and his siblings when they were young. Michael was also a very giving person. He didn't have much, but he would give you the shirt off his back. Michael found great joy in listening to music. He would often fall asleep listening to music. He also enjoyed cooking and walking. He was a collector of football cards and had an interest in coins. Michael worked multiple jobs throughout his life, and volunteered at the community barber shop. Michael didn't have any kids of his own, but he had a host of nieces and nephews with whom he loved spending time, and they also loved him dearly. Michael left an impression on all of our lives, and he will surely be missed.

Michael is preceded in death by his father Joseph Neal Sr. Michael is survived by his mother Martha Nsofor; sisters Annette (Neal) Martin and husband Ted, Nickisha (Neal) Wilson and husband Timothy, Kenya (Neal) Foster and husband John; brothers Joseph Neal Jr., Joemar Neal and wife Verna; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Scott Funeral Home from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM, with a funeral service beginning at 3:00 PM.
