Michael Todd Estes (Mike), age 50 of Houston, Texas, formerly of Alvin, Texas, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2025, after a long, hard fought battle with cancer that started in 2020. Mike was born April 23, 1974 in Nassau Bay, Texas.  Mike loved Jesus and volunteered many years at Lakewood church in the children's ministry, eventually becoming a children's ministry leader alongside his wife, Aimee. Mike gave his life to Christ, and regularly prayed for his family, his friends, and those in need. Mike enjoyed watching sports and attending games with his wife, daughters, and friends. Especially games with his Astros and Texans. Mike was surrounded by many friends, he never knew a stranger and those that met him, loved him. Mike also had a love for softball, coaching his daughter, Ceciley, and eventually becoming an umpire. Mike would regularly open a long day of umpiring with his fellow umpires in prayer. He was even nicknamed Pastor Mike. Mike is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Crossley; twin sister Brandi Cesario.

Mike is survived by his wife Aimee Estes; daughters Ceciley McDonald and husband Ryan, Ginger Hogard, Clara Garza and husband J.J., and Peyton Hogard; father Arlie Estes; brother Curtis Estes and wife Michelle; grandchildren Mason and Everly McDonald; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

A memorial visitation will be Saturday, March 22, 2025 from 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM at Scott Funeral Home, with a memorial service starting at 11:00 AM.
