Mary Theresa Garcia, age 70 of Alvin, Texas passed away Monday, January 31, 2022 at HCA Healthcare Hospital in Pearland, Texas. Mary was born September 25, 1951 in Alvin, Texas and was a lifetime resident. She worked for many as a supervisor in the accounting department at St. Luke's Hospital and was a member of St. John's Catholic Church in Alvin. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Israel Garcia Sr.; parents, Manuel and Luz Garza; step brother, Johnny Garza and Manuel Garza Jr.; step sister, Hellen Martinez, Antonia Lozano, Mary Louise Cuellar and Annie Garcia.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Angela Garcia-Gonzales and husband Eddie, Amanda Garcia and husband Blaze Allen III; son, Israel Garcia Jr. and wife Melissa; sister, Sarah Mathews; grandchildren, Toby Salinas, Daniel Garcia, Joshua Garcia, Jonathan Garcia, Jose Rubio, Riley Allen and Hila Allen; along with numerous, great grandchildren, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday, February 11, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Scott Funeral Home.
