Mary Coronado, age 92 of Alvin, Texas, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2026. Mary was born January 6, 1934 in San Perlita, Texas, and was a lifetime member of the Alvin community. Mary is preceded in death by her parents Domingo and Dominga Correa II, brothers Domingo Correa and Valdemar Correa.

Mary is survived by her daughters Yolanda Reed and husband Art, Olga Lopez Tellez, Carmen Lopez, and Laura Benavides and husband Brandon; grandchildren Jason, Daniel, Jesse, Destin, Heron, Alma, Michael, Diana, Vallery and Ava; along with numerous greatgrandchildren, relatives, and friends.

A visitation will be held Monday, September 7, 2026 at Scott Funeral Home from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, with a rosary beginning at 7:00 PM. A funeral mass will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church. Interment to take place at Oak Park Cemetery following the service.
