On April 9, 2022, our mother, Martha Ann Cornett Phillips, passed peacefully in the company of her loved ones.  She was, and still is, a wonderful and kind mother of five children, grandmother to 20 grandchildren and Gigi to 36 great-grandchildren (one to join us in August).

Martha Ann was born on June 27, 1929 in Quay, Oklahoma to Earl Lee and Roxie Abbass Amos Cornett.  She was married to Bobby Wayne Phillips on June 2, 1949 in Oklahoma City where she resided with her family until 1972, at which time they moved to Houston, Texas.

She was a kind and loving mother.  She never wanted to impose on others even when they wanted to be imposed upon.  She will be greatly missed here, but we know she has joyfully joined our dad, her beloved Bob, and her family and friends who have gone on before, who have, undoubtedly, been patiently waiting for her to join them.  Though we will miss her, we are happy in the knowledge that she is finally at peace from suffering and is where she has wanted to be for quite some time - with our Dad!

She is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Flossie, Sybil, Alfton, Carroll, Leita, Wilma and Robert (Bobby), her beloved sweetheart Bobby Wayne Phillips and two beloved sons-in-law Russell Schwausch and Kenneth Jolly.

She is survived by her children, Bobby Wayne Phillips II and wife Connie, Sandra Kay Schwausch, Diana Lee Jolly, Cheryl Ann Carling and husband Bruce and Steven Dale Phillips and wife Linda.  She is also survived by twenty grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

We love you Momma and we will miss you until we meet again.
