Martha Liverman was born on January 30, 1937 at home in Houston, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband George King Liverman, Sr; parents Emory and Lillian Payne; brothers Norman Payne Jr and Clifford Payne.

She accepted Christ as her personal savior & was baptized at Park Place Baptist Church. She loved her church family there. She graduated from Milby High School in 1954 and then attended Baylor University in Waco, TX where she met the love of her life, George King Liverman, Sr.  They dated all through Baylor & married upon graduation in a double ring ceremony with her twin sister, Mary Lou and Calvin McKaig at Park Place Baptist Church.

Martha graduated from Baylor in 1958 with degrees in Education & English. She taught for several years until she had her first son, Stephen. She had MaryJane & George a few years later, and raised all three of them while her husband worked as a Sales Manager in the Building Industry. She was a devoted wife and mother. She loved her family, and she loved the Lord.  Those who knew Martha, knew that she was a prayer warrior. She prayed about everything and for everyone. Intercessory prayer was her gift. She was a very special person who loved people like Christ loves people-looking not at the exterior, but at the heart of a person.  She was so very kind and loving. She was also a primary school teacher for 27 years. She taught in Houston ISD before she had children for several years and then taught in Alvin ISD for many years until she retired in 2000. She prayed for her students every day of every year and saw so many miracles happen in so many of her students' lives during her teaching years.

She is survived by her twin sister MaryLou and husband Dr. Calvin McKaig; eldest son Stephen Payne Liverman, wife Lisa, daughter Nicole, grandchildren Savannah & King; daughter MaryJane and husband Martin Monaghan, their two daughters Lindsay and Heather; son George King Liverman, Jr and fiancé Alicia Remmers.

She entered the pearly gates of Heaven on December 19th at 3:00am and joined so many of her precious family members and friends there with our Lord. This is where she longed to be, and to also join her dearly departed husband, whom she had been married to for 59 years. She will be missed deeply by her children and grandchildren, but they know, with the promise of salvation in Christ Jesus, and through the mighty power of grace and forgiveness, they will see her again in Heaven.

Due to the recent rise of Covid-19 cases the Liverman family has requested that if you will be attending the visitation or service for Mrs. Liverman that you, please wear a mask. Mask will be provided at the door if needed.
