Marjorie Lee Peterson age 79 of Alvin, Texas passed on June 3, 2025 at 9:29 pm at Laurel Court. She was born April 25, 1946. She was preceded in death by her parents Ruth Shaw Watson (1997) and Wilmer Watson (2000), and her sister Deborah Wallhead (2021).

Margi was originally from Pennsylvania but also lived in Ohio, Missouri and Virginia as well as Texas. She had a good sense of humor and enjoyed reading, crocheting, painting and spending time with her family. She loved old Godzilla movies, Ghost Hunters and X-Files. Animals were some of her favorite companions, with her cat Nahla being her favorite.

She is survived by: Sister Marilyn Miller and significant other Shannon. Children Shona Stephens and husband Mark, Candace Zenger and husband James, Laurie Peterson and husband Chris, Edwin Peterson, 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
